Work With Me
Dr. Erin Olivo is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 21-years experience treating patients and teaching them how to cope with anxiety. She maintains a private psychotherapy practice in Manhattan, and works with adults and teenagers who are experiencing difficulties dealing with stress, depression, unhealthy relationships, chronic illness or problems such as self-destructive behavior, addictions, and over-eating.
Dr. Olivo’s approach is solution focused and integrates cognitive behavior therapy and DBT therapy with mind-body strategies such as mindfulness meditation. Her treatment balances change strategies with acceptance strategies and addresses the emotions underlying the issues. Dr. Olivo teaches her patients how to regulate their emotions, tolerate and cope with stress and anxiety, and achieve a more balanced approach to life that she calls Wise Mind Living.
